Service Description

Residents must book the lift in advance when moving in, moving out, or arranging large deliveries.


Cancellation Policy

To ensure safe and efficient use of the lifts during moves and large deliveries, all bookings are subject to the following conditions: 1. Booking & Availability Lift bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability. Bookings are available Monday to Friday only, in the following time slots: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm Bookings outside these times will incur a $100 hourly charge, payable by the lot owner. 2. Deposit A $200 refundable deposit is required for all bookings. The deposit will be refunded once the lift and loading area have been inspected and confirmed free of damage or extra cleaning. Any damage or cleaning costs will be deducted from the deposit. Damage costs exceeding the deposit will be on-charged to the resident. 3. Access & Use All moves must be carried out through the Loading Bay on Level B2 or the side door at the B1 exit. No moves are permitted through the Main Foyer or front entrance at any time. Residents are responsible for advising if lift padding is required at the time of booking. Holding or forcing the lift doors open is prohibited. This can cause serious faults, with average repair costs of $750, charged to the resident. 4. Conduct & Responsibilities The resident booking the lift must be present during the entire move. Furniture, boxes, or belongings must not be left in common areas at any time. All rubbish and packing materials must be disposed of in accordance with River Place By-Laws, using designated refuse areas. Noise must be kept to a minimum. Management is not responsible for removalist costs under any circumstances. 5. Liability & Enforcement The resident is liable for any damage caused to lifts, common property, or other residents’ property during the booking. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in loss of deposit, refusal of future bookings, or further action in line with the By-Laws.
