Cancellation Policy

1. Bookings The BBQ area must be booked in advance via the River Place booking system. Maximum booking duration: 4 hours. Bookings must conclude and the area vacated by 10:00 pm. The resident making the booking must be in attendance at all times. Guest limit: 20 persons maximum. 2. Deposits A refundable deposit is required: $50 for up to 10 guests. $100 for 11–20 guests. The deposit covers key use and cleaning. The deposit will only be refunded after inspection. Any cleaning, rubbish removal, or damage costs will be deducted. 3. Key Collection Keys must be collected from Reception during office hours: Mon–Thurs: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm Fri: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm Sat: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm Keys must be returned immediately after use. 4. Conduct & House Rules Residents are responsible for the behaviour of their guests. All rubbish must be removed and taken to B2 refuse area. Noise must be kept to a minimum in line with River Place By-Laws. Smoking is prohibited throughout River Place, including all common areas. Music systems and electrical appliances are not permitted. During events, any instructions from Management or Security must be followed. 5. Safety The water feature is strictly out of bounds. BBQ doors must be locked and the gas turned off at the bottle before leaving. Residents are liable for any damage caused during their booking. 6. Enforcement Non-compliance with these conditions may result in forfeiture of the deposit, refusal of future bookings, or further action as per the River Place By-Laws.
